Does anyone else ever see numbers in reverse ?

    Weird question ....
I never told anyone this before because I thought it was kind of unimportant, but I just wanted to see if i'm the only person here who sometimes reads numbers backwards ......

Example .... about 40% of the time, if I see a number quickly --- like 74 ... i'll remember it as seeing 47.

I've learned to over come this by saying the number to myself sometimes over and over.

I have no problem with letters or words.
    Just numbers.

    Is that crazy ?

Its called dyslexia. I have it, got it when my 1st grade teacher made me swap from left hand to right hand in writing and eating.

I've done it myself with numbers as well. Often when I do a quick glancew and not give the # my full attention I will do that

Very interesting. I need to do some research on this.

I believe I have mild lysdexia. Occasionally with both numbers and letters. Sometimes when I am writing, I will write the work backwards for no reason. I blame a glich in the Matrix.

Crossword puzzles, happens all the time. Programming, never happened at all. I think I'm just lazy and don't pay attention to details unless absolutely necessary.

My son and partner are both dyslexic John...seeing numbers in reverse or mixed up is a very mild form of dyslexia and you seem to have conquered how to deal with it....my son is an extreame dyslexic and has a fear of reading and writting because of it....he is in the top 5% of his class in intelligence but has difficulty proving this exam wise as it usually relies on written tests. He has improved with some one on one lessons but still has the reading skills of an 8 year old (he is 13), it is frustrating for him at school as unfortunately our world is still obsessed with the written word as a measure of your worth in the world.
