Mike swearing on the Brady Bunch ?

I just found this clip on youtube.

Not being a very big Brady Bunch fan, i'm not sure if it's real or doctored up.

If it's not doctored up, is Mike Brady saying what I think he's saying ?

I have to assume this is just an audio burp at most. It could also be an intentional manipulation, but I do nto think they would have simply clipped the audio and ran the shot. I also think the other actors would have definitely reacted has he blurted this out. Watch it with the sound down abd it appears he does not curse.

I would be curious to see if anyone here has the DVD set and could find this episode.

I'm inclined to agree. I think the kids, or at least Florence Henderson would have reacted to that. And knowing how censorship was back then, that wouldn't have flown w/ the network.

I've always noticed the hiccup but thought it was just to stress "morning". I have the DVD and I'll have to take a look but I don't think he cursed since nobody in the cast flinched or broke character.

It looks to me like they freeze the clip for just long enough to leave the expletive to the imagination, but his mouth was already forming the "M" of morning when it is frozen. I remember this episode and never remember a pause or anything unusual there.

On an episode of the Andy Griffith Show, there is a scene where Andy is talking to Rafe Hollister, a moonshiner who is preparing to sing at the Lady's Auxillery Musical.

Andy says a line and then Rafe replys, "Arrested for moonshinin'?... last June?... 'ell that's me!"

It goes by real quick and the "hell" has no definate consonant in front of it, so it could be interpreted as a "well" but when you hear it, it is almost certainly a "hell".

I take back what I saiid above. . .it may be dubbed in/over. I saw that there are several other clips showing the same bit. . .apparently from different sources/quality etc. I also noted that where it looks like Mikes mouth freezes for a fraction of a sec ond, that the other characters aren't frozen, and I think Bobby turns to look at him. . . so yes it does looked dubbed over to me now. . . and he may have said something quite different????
