Since I know there's a huge nostalgia factor here I'm wondering who else loved classic gaming and arcades back in the day? With technology advancing the way it has I've really been rediscovering this part of my youth.
Not only can play the games 100% true to the arcade versions at home, I can even buy real controls (I've got an www.x-arcade.com solo) to play them with. It's awesome on so many levels. The collector in me loves collecting the game, the kid in me loves playing them, and the nostalgia buff loves the fact that it let sme go back in time and because it's on eqipment I own no one can ever take it away from me. As more and more favorite places close down it's a huge comfort. It's also cool that for such small investment (most of the game compilations are $20 new and less used) I get such great replay value.
