Digital conversion: what we have to look forward to

I have digital cable, and have for the last 9 years. I have learned to accept the occasional freeze and pixel break up, but lately every channel I watch seems to freeze, stay that way for a couple of minutes and then resume at another part of the show. I'm just wondering if everyone goes digital, will we have more of the same or worse to look forward to?

The Same thing has been happening to me. It's Probably Comcast.
