It is a tough one. . . there is real excitment when there is a few folk on here and you have to wait your 30 secs. It got to page 14 in about 30 mins a couple of weeks back.

Perhaps a Quorum would work better than a time limit. . . ie 3 folks log on to play, then the game is away. Mitch calls for a quorum 3 or 4 sign in. . .and the question is put out there.

For me it is 11pm at night (and sometimes 11:20pm for example). . . so when I play, I have to remember to stay up for it. . . and I would only get a few guesses before having to go to bed, with the time limit. Less excitment/panic also.

But hey. . .it is your game Mitch. . . and you get to call the rules anyway you like them. . . and we will still be eternally greatful for what you do!

1 guess and that's it

Nice and simple

If nobody guesses the answer in 24 hours, the prizes carry's over to next week (to make a bigger pot)
.. and so on.

It has only been a week though. . . give it time. . . it is from the goodness of Mitches heart after all. . . and you didn't have to buy a ticket. Hopefully it will arrive faster than the cards I sent you though! LOL!

That was a marathon session that one wasn't it. . .in fact that was 2 weeks ago now wasn't it. But I'ld guess it'll show up sooner rather than later.

To be fair with my ESP it wouldnt really matter I usually get it within one or two. (Well the first one is usually playing around) But I always skip 3 or 4 weeks to let others catch up.

It used to be fun racking up 30 pages in ten mins. It happens the same time every week so I cant see everyone being surprised.

I direct every newbie looking for cards to check out mitches contest and the time its on. Nobody really shows up anymore.(Rodge, Barry and several others) Im third shift myself so I'm in aussies boat its my late night too.

Changing the rules and or times or a sign in ideas cool. Even limiting winners to once a month would be fine. Making em really hard is a great idea too.( I'll tone down the ESP and type with my left hand)

IN fact its been awhile since I ran one myself. I'll dig through some of my stuff and get some ideas for some solid trivia together.
