Finally painted my new home

Hey guys I finally got to paint my home well not me,we had to pay these guys to do it.The association won't let you do it yourself,here's the before and after and check out my new Mail box

I still have to do the drive way,which I already have all the stuff to do it and help that lawn with some new grass and flowers

Looks good, man. If it wasn't for the grass, I'd swear that the "Before" pic was in black and white! The new paint job looks more "homey" and inviting.

I have to admit, that whole HOA thing with all it's rules seems like a very alien concept to someone like me who lives in a small town in Canada.

We have HOA rules over here, too...we are responsible for the painting, but we can only use the set of colors they chose for us. I hate that. Right now the color of our house is "putty"

Your house looks so cozy with that color scheme. I like that a lot!! Wayyyyy better than what you had before.

Like the colors alot. Your right some plants along the front wall underneath the windows and maybe even a circular cutout in the middle of the lawn with one of those shorter wide palms(can't think of the name of it) would look awesome.

What association and why aren't you allowed to paint your own house?

There's an association that helps take care of the place and stuff like that.They want to make sure you don't start something and never finish it,and same here Jess you have to pick one of there color schemes as well...But it's cool they had some nice ones

I just put a bunch of those air powered wavy arm guys along the front. Nobody even looks at my house, just the guys. No need to paint, or cut the grass. Plus when I move they can come with me.
