    wow!

I know it all sucks now John, but this could all be a blessing in disguise

When Hurricane Andrew hit,it destroyed my aunts home,I mean half the house was missing. After her insurance paid her,she rebuilt everything and made it look 10 times nicer and more modern, her home nearly doubled in price after she was done and she still had money left over

Ahhh, that brings back memories. The first part to fall here was the exact spot where Tracy was sitting in the bathtub during the storm. Hang in there, it will all get better eventually.

No need to say anything my friend. Insurance will take care of it. I just thought these pics will show just how bad the hurricane was.

From those pictures, I am glad that you and your family are OK. I hope your insurance will go the extra mile and help you out with the inner walls and any possible mold build up.
          It's all good!

They should, they usually realize the problem that mold can be. When we had some basement flooding, the contractors hired by the insurance company made sure that everything was completely dry to prevent mold, they brought in big industrial driers and everything.

Those pics are something else. I'm glad that your insurance company is taking care of everything, John. You just have to look forward to when things will be back to normal, it may take some time, but it will get there.

Oh Man, you go offline for a few days and look what happens. Sorry to hear about it John, I hope everybody is healthy and that insurance takes care of it in a headache free way.

As soon as the word mold was mentioned, it turned into a replace everything and treat all the wood with chlorine sort of thing. The insurance guys don't like to play with the fungal thing.
