I saved a life today!

I was at my house all day picking up the sheetrock that fell from the ceiling and trying to get all of the insulation when all of a sudden, I saw a boot poking out of a huge pile of debris. As I yanked a mego superman appeared. He was a bit wet but in good condition. He thanked me for saving his life and asked me what took so long. I did lose about 20 megos (I only had about 45 left) so finding him was a nice suprise.

Anyway, we finally heard from our insurance company and they will send someone by in 5-7 days. We ripped up all of the second floor carpet today. Wow, what a task. I feel a bit better after getting all of the wet carpet out. Thank you everyone for your support and kind words. It has been a big help!

Glad to hear there are a few bright spots. Be careful as mold can be very dangerous. That was the deal with the water in my house. Insurance should cover everything including removal of the damaged stuff. Hope everything keeps going well. CG

Good old Supes can survive anything. I hope he was able to put a little smile on your face in the midst of all the hard work I'm sure you have to do. Hope things are going as well as they can for you under the circumstances.
