You would think those guys on stage would look happier, especially the Tim Conway looking dude who has his arms crossed.

It is a great concept, but with all things electrical, what would be the passenger saftey issues if in an accident and the battery or capacitors or whatever connect with the body of the car?

Using these for utility fleets, etc. would be great since I assume there would be little or no exhaust while on battery.
      It's all good!

To small for the family, but I think it's sharp looking myself. Good to see things moving in this direction.

            OK, lets do the math:

            GM Volt ---------------$40,000
            my Dodge truck --------$16,000

            my savings-------------$24,000
divide by cost of gas ---$3.50 per gal

            total gals of gas--------6857 gals
my gas mileage in truck--14 mpg
            miles I can drive---------96000

I only drive about 12,000 a year, so I can drive my truck eight years before I break even on just the cost of this car, not including the gas I have to put in it.

I will keep my Dodge Hemi truck!!!!

If they ever make a "eco-friendly" car less than $20,000 that you can fit more than two people, I will think about it.
