      I mean like far, far away ... it's a unique smell ... it's not like I'm going to run up to fresh road kill and sniff it, or buy an air freshener of essence of skunk lol.

      up close it also turns my stomach

        Wow, I have never thought to explain to someone what skunk stench is like.

        It is unmistakeable once you smell it and I really can't compare it to anything. The only thing I can think of that would even come halfway close is the smell of your urine after eating asparagus times 1,000.

        I don't understand how a skunk could be mistaken for a cat.

            That Really Sucks.

            I remember When I lived in Wyoming. I was getting out of work after a late night shift. As soon as I opened the Door to exit I saw a skunk. It scared me. I didn't want to get Sprayed. So I stayed inside until it walked away. It was a close call.
