Ike swallowed Bridge City

My county suffered storm surge, wind and tornado damage. 100% of the homes flooded with salt water. My house had water over the door knob. My parents are headed back there now. My appartment is slightly higher, but not by much. My Mustang and Megos are all a thing of the past. I will try to salvage what I can when I get back on Saturday. What sucks worse than anything is not being able be there or see anything for myself. Thank god for the internet and my uncle who didn't go very far and was able to give us first hand news today. I just thought I'd share my story. I'm not looking for sympothy as many have been delt a much harder blow than I have. I won't know the full extint of my losses until I go back.
