Halloween candy

What do you give out?
Full size candy or the little ones?

I give the full size and I get an asortment. They just have to be a candy I like.

Not wanting to sound like a Halloween scrooge,but we stopped giving out candy 2 years ago.It semed like we were only getting teenagers.And I'm not tallking about young ones,these kids probably parked their car at the end of the block .They just took the fun out of it,we were giving out the small ones.Now we are not against Halloween,we still decorate outside.Just not giving out candy.

I always buy the good stuff this year we got a huge bag of Jolly Ranchers stuff and another of Airheads.I use to live in an apartment and get stupid teen with no costumes,this year I moved to a more kid community so hopefully i get the little ones this time

With 5 younglings I'm involved with the candy receiving rather than the distribution.

We hardly have any kids in this neighborhood, but I still buy candy to pass out. It's usually the mini. (but yes, the kind I like, since I will be eating some afterwards.

We don't get any visitors and take our kids to Trunk and Treat at the church. We give out the little candies as there are tons of kids there.

I'm not a big candy eater but I love those mini snickers and 3 musketeer bars! There a candy shop near me called The Lollipoop store that sells retro candy. I never go there except around Halloween and buy lots of candy to give out. Fuin for me and the kids that come by.

Nothing. The Old Lady and I take the Boy out together... No One comes to me House anyways.

I can't give out any candy any more. My apartment is in a secured Building. The only people that have access is the Residents and theres really no kids.

My last place I used to give out both. You'd get the really good stuff if your Costume Rocked.

Same here. I'd love to give out full size candy, but the shear volume of trick-or-treaters makes that impossible.

I love living in a town where Halloween is still a fun event and kids can still get out and enjoy it!

Our neighborhood is hit hard so I have to buy minis. I literally buy 5 huge bags from Costco and go through all of them even if I hand out one per person. Since we have one of the biggest neighborhoods in town, everyone buses their kids in. I really don't mind but it is a little out of control. Also, we have our share of teenagers. They arrive in herds...I'm talking seniors in high school and they have no shame.

i just buy oodles of candy and give out 1 piece to each kid and then double up when i'm ready to go to bed

My Dad's B'day is on Halloween so we will go to my parents house. This will be the first year in 17 years I won't be taking at least one kid trick-or-treating (my youngest son is 12 now and a little too old/big). But kids will come to my parents house and I think my Mom buys the mini-candy bars.

My favorite is Good n' Fruity, which only seems to come out during Halloween.

Our house gets alot of hits. We're on a main street. We buy chips and suckers and mini bars. I try to give each kid one of each. WAY too many teenagers. I tell them if they can't be bothered to dress up, I can't be bothered to give them treats.
