Met Joe Perry of Aerosmith yesterday.

I'm a huge fan and he came into the Nissan dealer I work for.
I got a CD autographed and got to say hi. I only asked one question "Is the band working on a new album?" They are.
He purchased a GTR ($100,000.00).
I drove the car a few hundred feet, so I can say I drove Joe Perrys car.
First thing I noticed about him is he's alot smaller than I thought he would be, and I don't know if he is having back problems but he was hunched over.
All and all I thought he was a nice guy not stuck up at all.

man it would've been awesome to meet him,i'm a huge fan.But in all honesty I think I would've been more excited about driving the GTR!! I LOVE THAT CAR!!!!!!!!!!

I believe he still is recovering from a back injury that he acquired last year. Back injuries are nightmares. Glad you got to meet one of the finest guys in rock music. Awesome!

Very Cool! I cant wait to hear some new Aerosmith! Their last few cd's didnt impress me. I did see them a couple times in concert. They always put on a awesome show!

JP, that is very cool. Just in case you didn't know, Perry actually composed and performed the theme to the 90s Spidey cartoon, and Aerosmith did a cover of the original Spidey toon theme on the first Spidey movie soundtrack. So he's a Spidey fan too!

Perrys replacement

I forgot to mention that a few times i met " Jimmy Crespo " He was the guy who relpaced Joey Perry on two Aerosmith cd's. One was " Rock in a hard place" The other I believe was " Night in the ruts" . Anyway since we were on the Aerosmith subject i figured i'll throw that in. Crespo is a cool guy. I met many musicians over the years, some are cool, others just nasty and arrogant! So far Bon Jovi was the worst.
