    Just to be clear.
Both DirectTV and DISH Network are satellite networks however, I dislike DirectTV, and am pretty ok with DISH Network. Both have similar reception issues but nothing major. I am just very disgruntled with DirectTV's package, and especially their customer service.

It is kind of like XM vs Sirius, they are basically the same, but different.

A buddy of mine has Dish network and the only difference i can see is the lack of sport packages ie Sunday ticket which is the NFL package a must have and the baseball package another must have , I've had no trouble with there custmer service but then i only needed to call them once for a new dsh after Charlie hit in 04

I have Comcast Cable. It's alright. I'm already settled so I'm just gonna stick with it. My friends got the Dish and they love it. I'm still kinda undecided whats the best.

I used to have cable TV. I would grumble every time the bills would go up. Then we tried Direct TV until those bills started to go up, too. I don't remember many complaints while we had it. Now we have the Dish, and some of the basic channels, like History International or Bravo, you have to pay extra to get. We supposedly have a lot of channels, but there's never anything good to watch on tv. We are switching back to Cable once our contract is through.
