My buddy Ike is coming to Visit Saturday

I really hope he doesn't tear up the place. They say we are going to get hit pretty hard.

That's what my bosses are telling me... I have tickets to the ***-tros tonight for the 911 workers ceremony, then tomorrow I get locked into the building. I'm Essential, just not important...

I'm due to fly into Dallas-Houston-Beaumont Sunday morning from Toronto. Doesn't do any good to call American or Continental, niether one knows who's on first. Either way I'm bound to be stuck in one place or the other. I just hope everyone is safe back home.

Myself, Gman, and mugotu are all in the Houston area. They tell us category 3/4 by tomorrow evening. I'm staying put. School has already been cancelled for tomorrow in our area.

I don't like that Ike guy. Everytime he shows up, stuff gets broken, and spilled, and he never cleans up after himself. Take care. We'll still be here when your power gets restored. Best of Luck.

Explain Dallas-Houston-Beaumont...that is a BIG chunk of territory ...Dallas should be okay, again hundreds of miles inland..Beaumont not so good, Houston ...good luck landing.

lubbock about 300 plus miles inland...Dallas over 250 miles inland. These places will get rain, yes. But nothing like Hurricane conditions...

                            Teach,

Be safe, Brother. I'm hoping the dern think just dies out and everyone is spared the colossal pain in the butt that accompanies hurricanes.
