Anyone else hate the non-Norm McDonald Family Guy Death ?

I'm not sure if Norm was the first Death, but he certainly was THE BEST.

Anytime I see an episode with a different actor voicing Death, I almost have to turn it off.

Norm was just so perfect.

Am I right ?

The "new" Death is Adam Carolla of "Man Show" fame. He's not bad. The "gag" of Death being this kind of unaffected slacker isn't as funny without McDonald's sleepy delivery though.

Corolla was a good choice to replace McDonald but Norm pretty much owned that character.

Regarding Meg: She's actually different in the first season, so that voice seems to fit her better than Mila Kunis... And yes, Alex Bornstein has always been Lois... And we need more "first season" Stewie, the baby who wants to dominate the world while riding on the corpse of Lois...

And as far as Death: McDonald is the only one that can really pull it off... It's kind of like when MARRIED WITH CHILDREN had an episode where Cheech Marin voiced Buck the dog... It didn't work... Sometimes ya gotta leave well enough alone...

The thing about Norm, his voice styling is very unique ...... and most of his characters (including death) are basically the same.
Kind of a sarcastic slouch.
Anyone else doing death just seems like a cheap rip-off of Norm.

I think the only other person who would pull off a decent death might be David Spade.
But a Spade death would be a different personality.

Lacey Pembert...she was in "Mean Girls". For some reason, she wasn't credited for the role of Meg...something to do with being under contract elsewhere at the time...???
