    The Virtual BEATLES

I found this the other day and it is starting to grow on me.

Some Beatle historian/musician/impersonators got together and played with some of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison's demos that have been floating around for the last twenty years...

These recordings are a tribute to the Beatles Reunion occurred in 1994, when Jeff Lynne produced the finishing of two Lennon demos with the surviving Beatles. These guys chose some demos by John, Paul & George (of those songs they thought had good quality of sound and composition) and tried to capture the sound that Lynne would have given to them if a COMPLETE reunion album had been made. They did it respectful and carefully.

    TRACKLIST:
    1.- Free as a bird
    2.- I don't want to do it
    3.- Real Love
    4.- You saved my soul
    5.- Your school
    6.- Let it down
    7.- Now and then
    8.- India
9.- You know what to do
10.- Help me to help myself
    11.- Nowhere to go
    12.- Grow old with me
    13.- Goodbye

After listening to it, they managed to give justice to these old demo tapes that have been floating around for quite some time. Some of the demos originally are just John Lennon on piano and they added the other instruments around them like they did on the Anthology albums. It isn't bad. Since you can't buy it anywhere and they are just giving them away. I have a copy if anyone wants.
I believe they made this available free because they could get sued for doing this since it wasn't an official Beatles release.

If you have a lot of patience, you can get it here for free.

I think it is cool how they do "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love" to show how close they are to sounding like the originals when they touched up the songs in 1995.

I believe the CD is available free for downloading on their website. These guys did this so they wouldn't be sued for royalties. That way they just get recognition.
