Any Sepultura fans here?

It founded by the Cavalera brothers, Max and Igor.

I think it is jacked up the the original singer Max Cavalera leaves the band because in the mid 90s because the band doesn't want his wife to manage the band anymore. They continue on with a new singer (who sucks and doesn't even fit the imagine).

Then recently the drummer and founder Igor Cavalera tries to push a Sepultura reunion and he he winds up leaving.

You think Sepultura would call it quits? Nope. They hire another drummer and plan to continue. What the heck? The only original guy left is the bass player, Paulo Jr.

So, Max and Igor star a "new" band called the Cavalera Conspiracy which basically sounds like the original Sepultura.

In cases like this. I think bands need to "hang it up" and give the name back.

Sepultura's big albums Arise (1991), Chaos A.D. (1993) and Roots (1996)
They were the ones that featured the original guys Max and Igor.

Music stuff like that irritates me.

I wish all four guys could just make up and get back together. Because you're right, for all practical purposes, Cavaleria Conspiracy is the "true" Sepultura. We played with them at the Graspop fest in July and they were great, it was like 1994 all over again.

Haha, well tell you what, if my buddy winds up working for King D. the next time he tours, I'll see if I can hook you up for guest list or somethin'. No promises, but if I can do it I will.

Hey what can I say?? We love Belgium and the Belgian fans, and they seem to tolerate us okay enough

I've been playing for nearly 25 years, and some of the things we've experienced in Belgium make up some of the best times I've had being a musician. Plus it's the one tour stop that I know I'll have someone there to talk Mego with!!

Probably not until after a new album is done and released....next summer, most likely. We're hoping to get on more of the cool festivals out there!
