I saw Journey last night in Toronto.

The concert was amazing, Arnel Pineda did an excellent performance. If you closed your eyes, you'd swear that it was Steve Perry, even when he talks they sound alike. Cheap Trick and Heart were also there and both very good. It was packed at The Molson Amphitheater, but we had great seats. I'll try to post some pictures later.

I have been listening to that new Journey CD (thanks to someone on here who stirred me toward it). It is not bad.

Heart was good, some of the songs seamed like the timing was off. Nancy Wilson played some acoustic, but everything else is electric. The best song I of the night they played in my opinion was "Crazy On You".

Steve Perry was actually selling hot dogs at one of the concession stands. It was really awkward for everyone involved.

Yeah, I think their new singer is incredible. No, he is not exactly Steve Perry (no one can be) but he does have the talent and the stage persona to give Journey another career. I love the new song "Through the years" and can't understand (to save my life) why it hasn't been a number one song, let alone a top ten single. It deserves it. I put it up there right behind 'open arms'.

My Uncle told me about Arnel Pineda. (Guess Arnel is at the top of all news Filipino). I couldn't believe it until I saw it YouTube.
