I think that this is still in beta stage and you can opt out with the link at top right of page.

BTW I quite like it but it does take longer to load.

As Steve said just go to the bottom of the page and opt out and it will all go back to normal.

Yeah, i'm still opted out. I hate change. I'm still using the old search as well. I just find it so much easier.

              Attention Seller!
Starting in October, the maximum shipping cost in this category will be $3.00. You'll be asked to enter a shipping cost less than or equal to this cost for the first U.S. flat rate shipping service.

Get a head start on these changes by updating your shipping costs for this listing

                ebay is on self destuct.

I'm guessing in about 2 years there wont even be an ebay anymore.

They can have 10 billion buyers, but with no sellers it cant continue.

Right. There will also be no Coca Cola, Wal-Mart or McDonalds.

The same thing happened to my ebay page last night. I don't like the beta format so I opted out. I prefer the original.

I also think unless something comes along thats way better than ebay, it's not going anywhere.

Like any other Big fish company we really don't have much choice. There are other sites (like sell.com) but no where near the hits. so if you want to find it everyone hits ebay first. Even now the big phone comanies have the lion's share of the business despite the advertising of digital phone alternatives like vonage. I guess from a buyer's perspective it is a good thing but if you are trying to sell a box set you can lose money on shipping

A lot of the changes ebay implements upset sellers but many of these things are inviting to buyers. Sellers may have more restrictions but if you have more potential buyers, then something like maximum shipping costs will net you a higher final bid amount. And sellers already charging reasonable shipping will notice no difference in listing - only in profit. Does this change benefit ebay - YES they get more sales therefore more money. Are the evil? They are a business trying to make profits. If they are threatened by competition or decrease in listings then they will adjust. I can't see them going away anytime soon. For the record I am one of those who lists far less than I used to. Low dollar items are too much of a nuisance to sell and fees eat into profit too much to make it worthwhile. I use criagslist (larger items), mego museum (toys esp. mego), the goodwill (usable garbage) or next to the dumpster (serviceable or large stuff that is hard to sell).

Same here. Mine changed about a year ago and I immediately opted out, couldn't find my way around the new lay-out, looked like crap too
