I graduated from the University of Maryland so am naturally a die hard Terrapins fan.

We beat the University of Delaware 14-7 in a borefest. Maryland should have easily won it but not only could not seem to get the ball in the endzone but their field goal kicker missed 3 in a row!!!

Just a few years ago, Maryland had an up and coming Football team and were regularly beating West Virginia every single year along with most teams they played in bowl games like Purdue, West Virginia, and even Tennessee. They have had a few bad years (even though they upset Boston College last year). Their schedule looks really weak compared to previous years and decided to bail on playing VT this year and instead take their chances on Univ. California in a few weeks.

Maryland has the ability to go undefeated this season but I don't see them moving into the top 10 even with an undefeated record because of their schedule.

At this point it is pretty safe to say that my team will not be getting the opportunity to get thrashed in the championship game a third time (since the thrashing already took place)
