I wonder how Tressel felt about playing the team that put him on the map.

Hope all turns out okay with Beanie Wells.

Well, we won!!! We looked sluggish in the 2nd half, but we still won 41-13. Looks like Hatch will be the starter, as Lee showed that he has alot to learn to play at this level.

D, if things progress as they should, that is going to be one heck of a game!!!

There is a definite history there...Schnellenberger puts Miami on the map, winds up coaching Oklahoma. Johnson is coached by Switzer at Arkansas, winds up at Miami in the late-80s after Switzer owned him when Johnson was at Oklahoma State. Johnson and Switzer both had a connection with Jerry Jones at Arkansas and both wind up winning Super Bowls for Jones with Dallas. Dude, those programs are so intertwined, it is ridiculous. It's a story, to be sure.

                      Big Game Tonight for Me

My Illini head down to St. Louis to take on Missouri. Should be a great one to start the season.

Hawaii had an undefeated regular season last year and the Wac champion, plus a magor bowl bid. I would say there were many easier teams they could have schedualed in for their opener. Like ummm Division 1AA App ST or Division 1AA Charlston Southern

Gators didn;t even have to throw. They have crazy and I mean crazy speed in the backfield. Didn;t show Miami anything to reveiw except 4.3 speed all over the place.

They didn't throw because their QB should be a Running back, that guy runs more then he throws

and I'm not to worried, speed we always have in Miami it's tackling that king kong you call a QB that worries me
