The first major US effect from Hurricane Gustav; They moved the kick off of LSU/Appt St to 10am!!!

Earliest kick off in Tiger Stadium history.



Plus I can no longer watch it in HD, it got moved from ESPN to ESPN Classic.

They moved the time because of possible evacuation of New Orleans, bringing them straight through Baton Rouge starting Saturday night/Sunday morning.

When I heard about this on Sports Radio yesterday, I thought about you and wondered if it would mess up any plans for you. I'm hoping this is the only inconvenience that storm causes for you folks.

Oklahoma is playing UT-Chattanooga. Wow. No TV obviously, and there are still tickets remaining for a seasoning-opening home game. Next week we play Cincinnati and there are tickets available for that game, too.

I'm waiting for a 2:30 game and while I was channel-surfing, I caught the end of the Va-Tech/East Carolina game. Va-Tech was up and had the ball and the lead (22-13) midway through the 4th Quarter when I started watching. East Carolina decided to put on a clinic to win it 27-22.

Now, Bowling Green has Pitt down by 10 with less than 5 minutes left.

Believe it or not...East Carolina pulled some BeamerBall on Va-Tech. In a turn of the tables, East Carolina blocked a punt and returned it for a Touchdown to get the win.

I went to the Stadium for kick off of the OSU v YSU game to be part of the crowd. Lily and Eleanor wanted to see Brutus Buckeye, the Band and the Cheerleaders. We got there too late for any of the festivities but enjoyed the crowd and came home to have a hot dog picnic and watch the Game.. It was a real nail biter. I hit record on the DVR and watch it in summation from 2:30 - 3:00.
