Obscure actor of the day discussion

Okay here's an idea. How about discussing an actor that is more or less out of the picture these days and see if we can find out what happened to them? If nothing else we can have a good time talking about their "hey day". I have the perfect actor to start with - Dan Haggerty. I saw a lunch box of his character "Grizzly Adams" the other day on Ebay and I thought to myself, "Now there's a flash in the pan". Whatever happen to this guy? I remember watching that show back in the late 70's but it was pretty limited. I mean how much entertainment value can you find in a man who runs off into the mountains to befriend a bear while he's on the run from the law? Some of the dialogue in that show was hysterical (and keep in mind this was mostly with a bear) - "Hey Ben. Aren't you excited to try some of my new raspberry cobbler cooking over the fire? Ha!Ha! I just knew you would!" Are we truly surprised this man was busted for marijuana use? Just a thought...

Wow. Talk about bad timing on my part. Feel sorry for the man. Thanks for the link.

This is starting to sound like Mego Obituary here.
Let's pick someone who's doing great, shall we?
That means, preferably alive and happy....

I'm trying to think of someone, but they're all...dead....

How about Marc Singer? The Beastmaster?

He's coming to Belgium in october: what can I give him to sign that is NOT 20 years old?

I saw grizzly Adams on one of those 2 minute long commercial spots selling something just last week. Can't remember what - maybe arthritis "medicine"

Well, he did the voice of Man-Bat/Kirk Langstrom on Batman: The Animated series, so you could get a Man-Bat figure off of ebay and get him to sign it. But geez, that's close to 20 years ago, now that I think about it!

Abe Vigoda. People have been saying he is dead for nigh-on 30 years!

Now this is weird. Additional research pulled up this personal message from Mr. Grizzly here:

YouTube - Dan Haggerty Personal Video Message Service

But when you go to his website he has a commercial playing that, in light of his recent tragedy, seems a little... different (just my point of view).

Damn he was old when Green Acres and Petticoat junction were on.

And Abe Vigoda is still alive too? Didnt he do some cartoon voices a while back?

Abe Vigoda: Well, I used to see him in my neighborhood all of the time. Though, he apparently lives on the upper east side. The funny thing is that one day when coming out of work (on the upper east side) there was Abe Vigoda. This was just after having seen him two or three times, in my neighborhood, over a few day period. For a minute I thought Abe might be stalking me...lol
