According to Google there is a Scott Arendsen in CA and one in AZ. My last name isn't common so I always wonder if I'm related to people when I see it somewhere else.

It's always kind of depressed me that there's probably only room for one rich and famous Scott Adams. For awhile I even went by a different last name (Scott Carroll--a family name) but I gave that up because it was a pain to have a nom de plum and it just doesn't matter.

When I lived on Long Island, I got three calls from Wall Street Journal. In one morning. Weird I thought...I am not a subscriber. Nor do I want to be. I called back...the guy sounded panicked even. He said he needed to know how I felt about a certain change in 401ks that the government was making that week. I think this was something to do with Roth IRAs . Mayb. I wish I understood money at all. Other than the fact it seems to disappear outta the bank account really fast. He sounded stunned when I said I had no idea what he was talking about...He then asked if I was the head of some economics forum in Garden City....I said no...Police Dispatcher in Long Beach...But I did know the guy that he wanted.
