Actually the article stated he had completed about 50 of them...

Hitting his head.... I had a friend who died that way. He was moving a sofa, tripped, and hit his head. He died within a day. Tragic.

I have read some funny "100 Things" quotes. The one that struck me as bizarrely humorous was "Being forced to dig my own grave at gun point, and living to tell my grandchildren about it." Is that one of Freeman's quotes?

I started wearing helmet everywhere. All the time.

My mom is turning 76 this year...her brothers, sisters, and their spouses and her friends are starting to die in large numbers.

I have had two aunts and an uncle die in the last 3 months and I asked her if seeing her siblings and friends die made her think about her own death.

She answered with an emphatic "yes" but also said she has lived a happy life and she would have said there really isn't anything in life that she hasn't done or seen that she wished she had.

I can say I have gained a new perspective since I have turned 40. This author was only 7 years older than me and now we are seeing some our favorite actors, singers, and celebrities die. I for one am not going to go down with any regrets...not that it matters once you're gone.
