    Kid dishes

    I was wondering...

Do your kids have special dishes w/ characters on them? Or plastic ones? Or do they eat from the same breakable "adult" type of dishes as everyone else?

Confession time! Yes, I have kid dishes for ME. Mostly cups and cereal bowls. Star Trek, POTA, SMDM, BW, that sort of thing.

How about your kids, (or you?)

When my kids were younger we used a set of Disney Hercules plates from McDonalds. They also had a Flintstones plate that I actually had growing up. Now there are several DC glasses we use from time to time.

I love them and wish that they had more when I saw them. They are kind of small (I have a big appetite)...and the other neat thing about them is they stack well.

Have two of the Monkey plates from Target. A couple of Princess plates and over a dozen different Mcdonalds plates. And cute Monkey and Lady bug glasses with floaties in them (also from Target - Wife works there!)
Too many toys. Not enough space!

We used to have some but my wife must have gotten rid of most of them.

My oldest is 8 and the only plastic dish I see up in the cabinet is a plastic Redskins plate from a few years ago.

We do have some glasses although now that I think about it, my wife must be secretly throwing them away when I'm not around. I know for sure we had a couple of those LOTR glass goblets they had at BK from years ago and I have not seen them up in the cabinet for quite some time. My oldest son used to drink from that goblet every day but I guess she pitched it when he decided he was too old to drink from something like that.

I've got an old Toys R Us plate somewhere in my kitchen. Back when Geoffrey had a family.

My kids don't anymore but I still use my Kellogg's bowls and my Seinfeld bowl for cereal. That Seinfeld bowl is the best, Jerry...the best!
