    Anybody here have dual citizenship?

    I'm a U.S. and a Mexican citizen (I vote in both countries).

I was born in Oakland, CA...then at 7 years of age, my pops moved us to Mexico (he was a bit of a bohemian, plus he wanted us to get to know Mexico)...then my ugly butt came back at age 14...and that's why I'm here bugging you guys to death, lol.

    Anybody else?

I didn't think you could get dual citizenship after the age of 21 in the US, when you could be recruited to serve for the US armed forces or something, because they want to make sure your loyalty would be only for the US if you were sent out to the battlefield.

I got the Mexican citizenship here at the San Francisco, CA. Mexican consulate about seven years ago. You have to sign a document were the U.S. comes first in case of war.

It would be great to have dual citizenship. Too bad I don't have one...you know...for when they start picking off the US citizens in a terrorist situation. (I watch too many movies)...

I'm happy enough being a citizen of the U.S.. I don't need to have any allegiance to any other country.
