    X-men Begins??

Well....after the ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE X-Men 3....it looks like Fox Studios is looking at taking the Batman Begins approach to the X-Men franchise. Which....is not a bad idea....I'd like to see a story about the original X-Men from the begining!
Of course....the only way this will work, is if FOX is smart enough to hire a good Director, and a good Writer(keep Tom Rothman & Zak Penn as as far away from this Movie as possible!!).
    Anyway....here's the story:

I wouldn't look at it as an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE movie. When I watch movies based on characters, I think of it as an alternate universe. Kind of like reading an Elseworlds comic book.

If you were not an avid reader of X-Men, the movie wasn't bad.

A movie with some of my beloved characters would be cool either way.

Yes, it wasn't the greatest movie but some of the special effects were cool.

X-Men first class the movie? Lets just wait and see. I have seen a 100 movie ideas come and go along with thousands of rumors.

Got to go with the Bat on this one, X3 was wretched. The first two were good, but that number 3 was crappola.

X3 had its issues. But was it Batman & Robin or Superman IV bad?

Umm, yeah if you look at it in relation to the rest of the series. It was the clunker of the three. Like Batman and Robin, it suffered from character overload. The only thing I liked about X3 was the casting of Kelsey Grammer as the Beast.

I'm pretty much bored with the X-movies franchise...yeah X-Men Origins:Wolverine looks cool but I'm more excited about the newer stuff from Marvel like Cap and Avengers and Iron Man 2. I think what I've disliked the most about the X-movies have been the villains, which haven't always thrilled me. Let's see some Sentinels!

The Wolverine movie looks to be x-character heavy, too. Is it too difficult to make a solo Wolverine movie?

I disliked X-men-3 Because they killed off Cyclops because he wasn't a well known Hollywood Super Hero. It bothered my quite a bit & affected my judgement on the film.

I dunno,... Hearing Ryan Renolds as DeadPool sounds fantastic to me.

Pretty sure Cyclops was killed off because he jumped ship for his role in Superman.

The most disappointing thing about X3 by far was the wasted opportunity of showing the Phoenix during the big battle sequence.

Much of it was bad though. Juggy - stunk with a capital STUNK.

Beast was ehhh. Kelsey was prefec for the role if a bit old and they should have made him more prominent.

Of course, I didn't much like any of them. Better writing and some better casting choices might have helped.

I LOVE X-1 & X-2....I think Singer & David Hayter, and Tom Desanto(ex.Producer/advisor)...did great job of bringing the X-Men into live action!

X-3? It doesn't even make a decent Frisbee!

The first one definitley had potential just some poor casting and changing the characters too much. Sabretooth anyone??????????
