Still waiting for Metamorpho to be reprinted in color. It'd be nice if DC left its house ads intact, too instead of the half blank page bottoms that come up every few pages.

essentials sell alot cheaper on ebay than they used to. and most medium sized library should have atleast one or two volumes. good reading if you have the time.

i would prefered to read alot of these issues for the first time in color, but i guess that would mean higher book prices.

I got all the Kirby ones, FF, Avengers, X-men, Ant-man, Thor Cap etc plus others, just too many to cope with and store, so i stopped collecting them. Plus i already have a lot of masterworks as well.

Do out of print Marvel Essentials ever come back into print? I wanted to pick up all four Tomb of Dracula books, but volume one seems to be out of print and sells for a lot more than the other three volumes (so far I just picked up Volume 4 that reprints stories from the B&W mags). I hate to pay a premium for it just to see it come back into print a couple months later.

i know conan didn't, after reading i sold it for $35 on ebay, back in 2005.
i sold uncanny x-men 1 , not cause i didn't like but because i saw they were going for 25-$30 sadly i only got like $12 for it.

Conan is probably a special case though because Marvel lost the rights to the character, so legally they couldn't reissue it now. Damn, I just looked up how much that Conan book goes for now. Crazy!

i'm sure you'll find tomb for a good price. i sold vol 1 for $7-8 back in 2007.
only got to about issue 5-6, but the artwork and stories were good. essential thor vol 1 is good reading that often gets over looked; the kirby-drawn issues i like, don heck however never did it for me.

I know they have reprinted Captain America vol.1, because I have seen it with a different cover than the one I own.
