      I vaguely remember this! Hahaha.

Here is an interesting side bit. 2017 at San Diego comic con, i was mucking about artist alley and I see this one vendor hawking his books, so I am checking them out as I hear him doing his salesman spiel(!) (SIC!) and as I am turning the pages, i see the BLUE BEETLE in his book.

I ask him about it and tell him, "Aren't you worried DC is gonna come after you?"

      he tells me no.

      why?

Apparently in the 40's (and 50's) Blue Beetle was owned by FOX comics and that was what most people remember, good ole Dan Garrett.

      well...

apparently Fox sold the Beetle to another company before he ended up with Charlton Comics in the 60's and their version had Dan Garret.

      One 'T'. Not two "TT"'s

This guy talked to his attorney and that is why he is using the Dan Garret version and not the Dan Garrett version.

Okayyyyy, that's your perogative, me, I would not want to even try to get Time Warner to come after me, they might make me disappear forever!!!

But now that I think about it I have not seen ANY mention of Dan Garrett in DC comics over the last 20, 30years, unless one of you know otherwise. I also know there was supposed to be another Beetle/SCARAB holder before Dan, he was to have been in the JSA/Black Adam Arc from issues 19-24 in the mid 2000s, where Jay races back to Egyptian times and there in the story he meets Teth-Adam, NABU & KATAR HOL. He was also supposed to meet the Egyptian Blue Beetle, but it was not to be. shame.

Maybe there is some legal ******** that has gone down over Dan Garrett/Garret over the years. Fox Comicx (Champion comics; I think it was) Charlton comics and now DC.

Will see in the movie credits who is thanked and who is not!!

        Thats my site

I haven't had the chance to properly update it now that I have been either taking care of my nephew, parents or spending time with bf.

Dynamite comics used the original Fox Comics characters Dan Garret Blue Beetle & Spar who are under public domain if you feel lucky.

When I first encountered Ted Kord in Crisis on Infinite Earths, I thought someone had ripped the Electric Company off.
