green lantern movie?

Would Jim Carrey (whom I agree would be perfect in the part) even do a film like this anymore? He's been picking some really weird projects the last little while...and none of them are mainstream or funny.
What about Bruce Campbell? he's got the goofy chin already?

^^^ I'd like to see Campbell play GL, set in the late 50's like New Frontier. If Del Toro gets his way, we'll see Campbell as Lobster Johnson in HB3.

I would LOVE to see a Hal Jordan/Green Lantern Movie...if it's done RIGHT! It could be a lot of Fun like Spiderman. Casting is important to Me though...and I can't think of an Actor for the Part...maybe go the "Unknown" route, Like Chris Reeve & Brandon Routh?

A Green Lantern movie would be so cool! I'd like to see some Top Gun-style flying sequences for Hal Jordan. I really like what Geoff Johns has been doing with Hal in Green Lantern. Really cool stuff based at Edwards Air Force base. Some of the parts of Revenge of the Green Lanterns was pretty cool. Back in the day, I don't think Hal had a call-sign - now he's "Highball", or something like that I think. Very cool. I can't see Guy or Kyle. Just Hal. Then maybe John introduced in a sequel. I'd like to see Hal versus Sinestro. How hard could that be? There's been at least three movies based on Alan Moore material. How hard is it to make a Green Lantern movie? Get George Eads from CSI - stat!! Unless DC is populated by total idiots they should be ripping off Marvel's movie model right now! movies for individual characters and then a team movie. Hey, kinda like what they did on Smallville. Not a team movie and then the character movies.

Sinestro training Hal for the first movie would be the shnizzle. Then Sinestro goes bad at the end and movie #2 is set up. Include the Corps but only in a limited way for the first movie, the whole corps in the 2nd movie. I could seriously enjoy that!
