Yesterday Boyfriend & I had to take Mom for eye surgery so sitting in the car waiting we watched The Guardians Of Justice ep 1-5 and tonight finished watching the last two episodes. To best describe it: an Elseworld 90's inspired Justice League story. Yes its violent and strange but you have to watch it all the way through to get the big reveal.

Derek Mears of Swamp Thing is a member of the GOJ. Also love the knock-off version of Damian Wayne Robin.

For all my fellow gays out there you need to give this a chance, it plays with so much fan-fiction you wish they would have done this with the DC characters.

I binged watched the seven episodes last weekend. Pretty bizarre and violent show. You could tell that the budget went mostly towards the animation and I wish they would have just stuck with that. Some of the actors were a good fit but most were not. Dallas Diamond Page as Knight Hawk was naturally over the top while Sharni Vinson as Speed was interesting. I would have liked to see more of the other members of the Guardians of Justice. It's kind of Watchman-like, which I guess was the point. I still highly recommend checking it out because it's so bad that it's good.

I ended it after about 15 minutes. Horrible acting makes it impossible to watch
