Thanks folks! I wrote the essay on "The Joker's Flying Saucer", and I can tell you, as wild as Season 3 was, I came from the angle of why that particular episode just didn't go for broke.

Which Joker season 3 episode did you like better? Joker’s Flying Saucer or Surfs up Joker’s Under?

For me it’s Surfs Up, 10 reasons.

1. Yvonne Craig in a bathing suit.
2. Joker’s hot rod.
3. Hot Dog walkie talkies
4. Joker wearing swimming trunks over his clothes.
5. Green haired band members. (They actually had a name)
6. Henchmen Riptide and Wipeout.
7. Skip Parker the surfing champ of Gotham City.
8. Commissioner Gordon and Chief O’Hara undercover as Duke and Buzzy (I think?)
9. Jokers gizmo transferomerter.
10. Some cool 60’s beach surfing music.

Editor Jim Beard's tenent for each essay is to come at it with an interesting hook. It makes for a very fun read and is more than just an episode guide, but it works in that way as well. Even if I wasn't in them, I'd love them. Can't recommend them enough, despite myself.
