Honestly besides Jayne Kennedy what other female sports caster were around then? she was definitely a beauty and maybe I’m a imagining this but, was she ever on an episode of Fantasy Island or Love Boat?

How could you forget former Miss America turn sportscaster, Phyllis George?

A quick check at imdb reveals Ms. Kennedy was in 3 episodes of The Love Boat, but I totally remember her appearance on Wonder Woman

She was one of my early crushes! I'm not that familiar with her acting skills (also mostly remembering er from NFL on CBS), but her statuesque beauty can easily stand next to Lynda Carter's, another of the 70s most beautiful women.

My main recollection of Jayne Kennedy is from CBS NFL Today back when Irv Cross, Jimmy the Greek, and Brent Musburger were on. She's definitely on the all-time list of beautiful women.

Yeah she would have definitely owned the part. Idk why but this thread reminded me of Wizard magazine's casting for comic book movies in the 90's when there weren't many Superhero movies but definitely enough rumors about future projects.

I'm rewatching Wonder Woman episode "Knockout" and am struck by Jayne Kennedy's beauty and on-screen presence. (She's a former Miss Ohio, just learned that.)

I think she'd have made a great TV Nubia, a missed opportunity for the show but of course it changed formats that season.

I want an 8" Mego Nubia so badly but I'm guessing FTC won't revisit that debacle. Who knows--with 3D printing making her armor possible, maybe great customs are within reach.

What do you think of this fantasy casting?
