The Batman Main Trailer

I'm not against that gangland interpretation of Penguin at all, just specific characterization details in the trailer. Some of it strikes me as a bit lazy and frankly untrue to some core elements of the character.

But, what do I know? I'm almost 54 and haven't read Batman comics in over 15 years. To me, there are theatrics to superheroes--they wear costumes and have personas after all--and this is especially true of Batman. If you retain that but strip it from his villains, what's "the point"?

well, maybe it will work. they have done this at various times in the comics with gangster penguin. it was different but it worked

But seriously, I'm not mad at this. I like some of the aesthetics and the Batmobile. TBH, I'm more interested in it than I was with Bale or especially Affleck.
