RIP David Anthony Kraft

David Anthony Kraft, known for his scripting work for Marvel in the 70s and 80s (in particular the Defenders and She-Hulk), and for publishing the pro-zine Comics Interview has passed away from complications form COVID. His wife posted the news this morning.

I first encountered Kraft's work with issue #50 of the Defenders, part of the Zodiac storyline, and that issue was one of my read to tatters favorites as a kid.

He was everywhere in the 70s and early 80s. He wrote World's Finest during the first big rift between Superman and Batman, after Batman formed the Outsiders, culminating in them burying the hatchet in #300. I was a fan of Comics Interview when I could find it on my rare trips to a comic shop.
