Great article! The Flash vs. Captain Boomerang (The Flash vs. pretty much anybody is hilarious!) always puzzled me. I read somewhere that The Flash and Kid Flash were not Marv Wolfman's favorite characters to write. He can move faster than Boomerang could complete his swing...

I never read it, but the idea of Magneto ripping the Adamantium out of Wolverine's body just sounds awesome.

I was just re-reading an issue of Batman: Shadow of the Bat, where Solomon Grundy climbs out of Slaughter Swamp. Even Alan Grant, the writer knows they're mismatched and that's the way he writes it - to show how determined Batman is. And in the end...I won't spoil it - although it is kind of a weak ending after a really cool build-up.

Right up there with Calender Man. Y'know, somethings just look and sound better on paper...

Got to agree with number two. I mean they even had Magneto pop out Wolverine's claws and impale himself in an issue of What If? You'd think Marvel would have gotten the hint then.

I Always thought Superman VS Spider-man was Stupid. Superman could Blow a Fart 1,000 Miles away,.. that would rip Spider-man in Half.
