Why can they not got the Marvel way and put cloth on the outside of the Batsuits. This way makes him look more like Iron Man, and yeah this has been the tradition since the 90's but it just doesn't look right.

I'm still undecided on this costume, I really need a better look at the Mask. The body armor Arkham/Asylum suit doesn't look to bad...although I really like Affleck's costume. Need BETTER high-res PICTURES! And of course, this is just a test...it could still change.

One thing I'm certain of though...Pattinson will be a GREAT BATMAN!!

Honestly, it's tough to really form much an impression from this tease, but it is exciting to see another trip to the well. Why not?

I will say I'd love to see a bat suit with some color in it, but oh well. I've got lots of that if I want to watch it.

Thanks Libby! That answered some questions for me. They cut back the sides because he has such a huge mandible. I don't know if that was aesthetic, comfort or for speaking purposes. Combined that with the collar and it has a very Gotham by Gaslight vibe.

The original red clip could be called "Peter Weller is Daredevil"

I hope they're trying to work on hiding his eyes. You can't see them in red clip, but they're clearly visible in the color corrected.
