SInce we've got the favorite juices flowing today, here's another one.
Justice - I love JLA, I love Ross's work. This was a no-brainer. I even liked the story for 3/4 of the series. I still re-read these from time to time.
Machine Man(1986?) - This introduced me to Windsor Smith and a new type of storytelling. It was well-written and touching. It was unlike most books I'd read to that point.
Squadron Supreme - I've still got to get the collected version and read this again. It' a complete JLA ripoff, but I think that's why I like it so much. Great story involving a new universe of characters, intrigue, betrayal and redemption.
Kingdom Come - In my eyes, hands down the best comic book acheivement in 30 years. Oh yeah, people will argue for Dark Knight, Watchmen or some other book, but this just hit all the right spots for me and is untouchable. Those others are great on their own, but nothing I've read really got to me like this.
Those are just off the top of my bald head.
