Yeah, I'm grateful to him for going out there and promoting the medium. I knew who he was when i was a kid, I also knew the names of the artists because of him.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Despite any issues I've grown to discover about Stan, he & Marvel had a HUGE impact on My Life growing up that I will forever be grateful.
I am glad he is finally at Peace with his Daughter & Wife.Everyone is Entitled to MY Opinion...Your's, not so much!Comment

This is the saddest celebrity passing ever to me...I cannot begin to express how much joy this man's creations brought to my life. Some people liked to criticize him, but he WAS Marvel. Whether it was Lee & Kirby, Lee & Ditko, or Lee & Romita...Stan Lee was the common denominator. And more than that, he seemed a genuine human being. His infectious enthusiasm for the Marvel superheroes he helped create never waned. Though I never met the man, I feel as if I've known him my whole life...whether reading his columns, letters, or joking captions...the way he wrote directly to the reader made it seem like he was addressing me, and that meant something. When he warmly narrated my favorite Marvel cartoons growing up, it seemed he was speaking directly to me right through the television. I swear sometimes I half expected him to say "Hey Dwayne! Did you see what Spidey did there?"
If it is possible to love someone you've never even met, then yes, I loved Stan Lee, and I will miss him terribly.Comment

Devastating news. This one hit me really hard. Like all kids, I felt like I knew him personally.
Marvel has been a part of my life for literally as long as I can remember.
Stan brought so much joy and wonder to me. An architect of dreams.
Rest in peace, sir. And thank you, so much.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

I actually don't feel too much sadness about his passing. Age 95 is a life well lived and he was active and had the energy of a man half his age.
I first knew of Stan from his narrations on Hulk and The Spiderfriends. I can't remember if he did them for the solo 1981 Spiderman series.
He will be missed, RIP StanComment

I have one word.... excelsior
As many have said already, what an ambassador for comics and superheroes he was. I think about how he has influenced generations of boys and girls that were reading Marvel comics under their bedsheets by the glow of a flashlight, myself included in that.Comment

While you can't really be surprised by the news that a 95 year old man passed away... this one really feels like the end of the era. I am happy that he got to live long enough to see his creations become the financial and pop culture success they have in recent years.Comment
