Warner Bros. has cast its Black Canary and Huntress for the upcoming Birds of Prey movie, due out February 2020.
I'm not familiar with either actress but people are saying good things about both of them. I was sort of hoping Lady Gaga would get the Canary role, since it was rumored she was offered the part. I'm not a huge Gaga fan, but I think she would have made a strong presence as Canary, especially if they played up the recent rock star angle of the character from the comics. Also having another big name would balance out putting Margot Robbie in this as Harley Quinn. But I'm willing to give these girls a chance. I mean, I knew nothing about Gal Gadot and she held her own and even stole the show in Batman v Superman. So you never know...

Because for me, step one for getting these comic book movies(or SiFi movies for that matter)right...is getting the casting "RIGHT." Now admittedly, I too love Margo Robbie...but I won't throw money at this movie. 
Nor will I sign up for a pay channel to watch the new live action Titans.
