So its the Riverdale version? Are they skimping out on Beastboy's green skin or fixing it in post?

Robin and Hawk and Dove looked great, but these set pics are making me nervous, particularly Starfire. Beast Boy's skin can be fixed in post, but Starfire looks like half-hearted cosplay. But I will reserve judgement until the episode airs.

I'm going to take a hard pass on this out of respect for how much I loved Teen Titans as a kid and how much I wound up loving "Teen Titans" cartoon series on Cartoon Network. If I start to hear rumblings of this series being "can't miss viewing", I'll join in down the trail.

Ben Cooper costumes are back in style again.

Beast Boy looks like he’s wearing a green hair-hat over his natural hair, rather than a full wig. It looks very costume-in-a-bag. Starfire’s “ensemble” makes this actress look like she’s playing a private escort (euphemism), rather than an alien from outer space. -Choices.

There once was an early to mid 30s fellow named "Me" that ****ed and moaned about the Murakimi series when it came out and now there is a late 40s fellow named "Me" that laughs at his younger self over how wrong he was. Unfortunately, I don't think your son will get to experience that with this version of the Titans. His initial disappointment in this will probably be justified, but who knows?

He also laments that Teen Titans Go! has probably killed any chance of a return of the the legit Titans series it was based on. Although there are rumors. But with Young Justice coming back, and this live-action series, it's doubtful.

I am hoping for the best, but fearing the worst, after seeing that these shots of the cast on the street show a clapboard with 109. I am guessing that means episode 9 of season one. These are not the iconic George Perez art forms come to life I was hoping for, but I will reserve judgement until after episode one or two.
