I caught it last night...I have mixed feelings.
I found the main character more appealing in his civilian identity as a high school principal. Black Lightning himself was kinda boring actually.
The fight scenes were very uninspired, and his powers just aren't that impressive. He's like a bargain basement Electro.
I forgot about it too. honestly, since it isn't part of the rest of the Arrowverse I am passing on it. I barely can keep up with the shows I already like to watch without adding another
Saw it and really enjoyed it. As a teacher for two decades, I think I was most impressed with/pleased by the fact it looked and felt like a real school (having seen so many poorly created schools in TV shows over the years), but it was a good episode and launched the series impressively.

Wanted: Legends of the West (Empire & Excel) and other western historically-based figures. Send me an offer.
Also interested in figures based on literary characters.
I hate the CW, with the exception of Legends of Tomorrow (which I stopped watching anyway)...never got into Arrow, I hate most of the Flash characters, and Supergirl is plain dumb.
I might watch one episode...it cannot be possible be worse than Supergirl.
If it is available on Hulu I plan to check it out.
I was SO ****ed that they killed off Laurel in season 4 of Arrow that I stopped watching it. I really loved the first few Arrow and Flash seasons, maybe they need a change up in writers to add some fresh blood into storylines.
I watch Supergirl knowing that it is cheesy, which I think kinda works when you are telling a Superman story. I loved Lois and Clark despite how silly it was. And my daughters will watch Supergirl, so I highly encourage almost anything DC in the house (BVS not allowed. I seriously let my 14 yr old watch Deadpool but not BVS) :P
