Growing up, I was all about the DC heroes. Superman and Batman? Biggest superheroes on the planet, period. But Marvel just seems to have the formula figured out right now and knows how to push those geek buttons just right. I reverted to a Twelve year old a couple times in that trailer and that's the criteria that makes it certified fresh in my own personal rotten Tomatoes meter. I don't need a reveiwer to tell me if it works or not, whether Marvel or DC. Either one, I'm just looking for those geek goosebumps.

As a DC geek first, let me say right off the bat...Thanos (even without his full outfit) looks a BILLION times better than Steppenwolf. You see, using a real human with CGI is better than a complete 100% fake character in a live action film. Josh Brolin looks menacing. Fake Steppenwolf looked like a video game prop. Plus Thanos is the GOAT. Steppenwolf is Darkseid’s sidekick.

As I’ve said many times before, not the biggest Avengers movie fan (I prefer the X-Men flicks). Captain America Winter Soldier is by far the best of these these movie series to me...and that’s a great film.

I think it has something to do with Robert Downey Jr...

Having said that...it looks pretty good. I’ll buy a ticket.

My initial reaction was "F--- YEAH!" Looks amazing. It's a big story, but it's going to encompass Avengers 4 and 5 so it all doesn't have to fit in just 1 film.
