I'm surprised to hear Leto will be back as the Joker in this movie, after the controversy surrounding the character in Suicide Squad. They article I read said there is also a separate Joker origin movie in the works that will not include Leto, so DC will have two seperate Jokers running around, which seems like something DC would do

Honestly I kind of dig that, different interpretations are interesting to me.

Aaaaaaand I liked Leto's take on the character. There i said it. It had some interesting qualities and I wish he had more screen time.

        Brave of you, sir.

I had more of a problem with the character's design and writing than Leto himself. More screen time could have helped and that's what we're getting, so we'll see!

I could have done with less bling but the guy was interesting and not rehashing previous portrayals.

I remember bursting out laughing at the tattoos in the first picture they release, and I hear you on the bling, but at least the grill made sense- Batman's punched his teeth out so many times and the poor guy's gotta eat still so...

So you are that one guy Brian? No seriously, good on you on admitting it. It's the first step to recovery.

Does WB have any clue what they are doing? A solo Joker origin film. A Gotham City Sirens movie with Harley. A Joker/Harley movie. A Batman movie that may or may not be tied into the DCEU...and may or may not have Bat-fleck. And a Nightwing movie.

Can they just make ONE and see if it's any good first?

If they were to ditch the ink on Mr. J Leto might go over a little better, it seemed really like the movie was trying to be hip, but it came off more forced like Poochy, or anything on Big Bang Theory.

^This. I am so confused when I read what's coming, what's part of the DCEU, what isn't. I smell a massive reboot coming in 2-4 years.

I'm with you Chris...Leto's Joker was to far removed from the Comics and my vision of the Joker. I understand they were afraid of copying Heath Ledger, that's unstandable...to tough to beat. But Still...they could have done better.

I am at a lost at this movie. The could be mixing up Gotham Sirens/Birds of Prey together for this one...maby?

How in the holy hell is Leto's Joker less comic faithful than &%$#ing Heath Ledgers? I enjoyed his performance but it took so many liberties with the Joker that I put it on par with Devito's Penguin.
