    NIGHTWING the Movie!

This I want to see! LOVE the character of Dick Grayson...I think it could work well.

We got the surprising announcement this week that The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay will be at the helm of a live-action Nightwing movie.

I same some fans were pushing for Zac Efron in the role. While I'm not real familiar with his work, I think he might be an interesting choice... plus, I think he could handle the obligatory gratuitous butt shots.

Its really hard to get excited about a DCU movie as the whole universe flounders around trying to find its way.

I love the character of Dick Grayson, but I'd like to see the film series get some legs under it with a movie that isn't divisive first. Wonder Woman might be it, but then I feel we'll be back to it with JL, unfortunately.

I don't get WB's thinking on any of this stuff. It feels like they're just taking shortcuts to ramp up DC product without any real backstory outside of a two minute flashback to justify putting on a costume so they can sell action figures. We're just now trying to get our heads around this new Affleck Batman who might be gone after JL and now we have a graduated Robin whom we never saw with him? It's just all over the place.

Agree with you to a point...but since they choose to make BATMAN much older, It makes more sense that Dick Grayson is an adult now. And they could tell in some of the back story(in flash backs)in the Nightwing movie.

Chris McKay directed the Lego Batman movie, and that movie shows more understanding of the DC universe than any of the Snyder era movies. I say if he wants to do Nightwing, and the brass is willing to get out of his way... then let him make the movie. It could be their Deadpool in the sense that it elevates a character who is popular in comic circles, but not among the general public, and makes him a household name.
