Captain America's powers in Civil War

Watching the movie and was wondering about Cap's powers in the scene where he leaps and grabs the helicopter and pulls it back to the landing pad. Since Cap doesn't fly, how does he get any leverage to move the helicopter at all? Wouldn't he basically just do a chin up when he pulls on the helicopter landing rail?

Watch the Thomas Crown Affair. They are very critical of helicopter lift capacity near the beginning of it. Also, with all of those enhanced muscles, Cap is no lightweight. It is enough to 'suspend disbelief.'

Yes he did...and he was really straining. Still, pretty badass for a normal peak strength human.

I would say the Movie Cap is depicted as more powerful than the comic version was originally intended to be. But from story to story and creator to creator the level of Cap's enhanced abilities vary like with most if not all super hero characters.
