This is insane...I ran across this Kelloggs AD from 1947, and the artwork is the spitting image of Christopher Reeve, five years before he was even BORN! That's just spooky...

Been saying this ever since this old ad appeared in a Superman Gallery comic in the 90s. I have this on my dining room wall...framed!

We should all thank casting director Lynn Stalmaster...for he alone...was the one who suggested Reeve for the role...as everyone else...wanted either someone famous or a muscular unknown...which neither Reeve was at the time. Obviously, he later bulked up for the role.

I'm sure Lynn Stalmaster did some extensive heavy research as to who would make the best Superman...it's very possible, he saw that very same 1947 Kelloggs AD you posted.
