Planet of the Apes meets Green Lantern

Another comic book series with somebody digging into the toybox:

DC Comics and BOOM! Studios are teaming up to bring together two of their classic sci-fi franchises in Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern.

Details are scarce on the project, including the story and the creative team. According to CBR, the creative team and initial art will be revealed after this week's New York Comic Con.

Green Lantern has previously crossed over with Star Trek in Star Trek/Green Lantern: The Spectrum War. DC has recently been working with other companies on several crossovers such as Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and their previous collaboration with BOOM!, Lumberjanes/Gotham Academy. Green Lantern/POTA comic crossover sounds interesting, I was a little disappointed that they crossed over Lantern
with the current Trek cast instead of the original cast like they did with Trek/Apes Prime Directive.
